You’re my better half
The supportive one
That’s compassionate
To all
No doubts or
Judgements
Always surprising me
With love.

Helping others
Without hesitation
Standing with me
Through thick
And thin.

Many times
I don’t understand
Why or what for
But I close my eyes
And breathe deeply
Sensing my soul
Within me.

As I quietly hear
From this place 
Of quiet
I need to
Experience this
So please
Don’t be afraid
And let’s 
Move forward
Together.
