Taking a stand
And standing your ground
Are different ways
To express what
You believe
At a moment
Of time.

As life changes
So should you
Staying stuck
In old beliefs
And old habits
 Keeps one living
In a rut
Loosing site
Of the ultimate
Achievement
Of an
Open heart.

A newness
Is opened
A freshness
Appears
Seeing and
Feeling
Like never
Before.

Release the bonds
Of the past
Become flexible
Like water
And persistent
Like rain.

Grounds yourself
In love
Knowing
Without a doubt
 Everything
Will be alright
In time.

Continue to live
And change into
Something magnificent
No longer needing
To take a stand
Or to stand your ground
For you embrace
Change with
An open heart
All the time.
