Keep The Magic Alive 3/4/2024

Within each of us
A subtlety exists
That’s bonds
With the magical parts
Of life
Often tied to
Hope and trust
For ourselves
And others as well.

Tis the place
All possibilities
And potentials
Exist
No perfection needed
Tis the willingness
To achieve them
That makes the
Connections alive.

Unfortunately for some
As we age
Our weary perceptions
Get in the way
Suppressing the magic
Within our heart
Discouraging future hope
Of the unbelievable
To enter life.

Feeding it
With dismay
Until a barrier
Is created
Cutting off direct access
To the magic
Our soul
Offers to us.

But if we choose
Love and compassion
Without judgment
Or labels
Life’s spark survives
And hope prevails
As a new day arrives
Allowing us to keep
The magic alive.
