Dis and Re 5/21/2025

Dis-contentment
Dis-engagement
Reveals a dis-connection
To light and love
Of God’s handy work
Called life.

When one
Is not
Involved
In living
They pull away
From activities
Re-treating
Into a dark space
Where overthinking
Becomes the norm.

Overpowering thoughts
Are created
Re-moving all positivity
From life
Feeling lost and lonely
Without love of self
For guidance.

The sense of survival
Dwindles
And hope
Slowly disappears
Continuing to fall
Into the black hole
Of emotional
Re-activity.

So how do we re-engage
Our hopefulness?
How do we re-attach
To living with love 
In our heart?

Tis difficult 
For many
As one must begin
To love thyself
Finding worthiness
And courage
No matter what
Has transpired
Is hard core stuff.

Re-kindling the love
Once smothered
By negativity
Transforms each day
Into a place
Of re-connecting
To the oneness
Of life
That was lost.
