Spiraling Upwards 12/12/2025

Rules and regulations
Can be stifling
But many are created
To help protect us
From bodily harm.

But
There are
Also many
That keep us
In our little box
Of thinking.

So
How do we know
When to break
Through
The barriers of
Limitations?

Tis a delicate line
To cross
For society wants
Us to obey and
Keep us in
Our places.

One must practice
Discernment
Before changing
The outward
Landscape
Of life.

Start to
Look inside
The heart
Noticing wounds
And band aids
Built up over
Years of chaos.

Do you have the courage
And willingness
To heal
Past wounds
And tomorrows?

Comfort
The inner child
Soothing the weariness
Of fear
Removing the blockages
Of ignorance
Helps to heal
The shadow
Returning
To the light
Of mindful living.

Repeating
The steps over
And over
Spiraling upwards
Always seeking the light
As one heals
From inside out.
