Cause And Effect 6/4/2025

Blurred thoughts 
Confusion becomes
Prominent 
Trying to understand
The chain of events  
That surfaced
For me to wrestle
Within my thoughts.

Finding my stillness
While
Seeking refugee 
Within an elevated 
Awareness
Looking for guidance
To this life event
As cause & effect
Words bubble up
From the depth.

We are the sum
Of all our past choices
If one doesn’t care
For the physical body
It breaks down
And stops 
Functioning.

As the effects
Of past decisions
Become the now
Poor choices
Unhealthy practices
And unprocessed 
Emotions
Will cause havoc 
In your life
Without notice
Asking
What is your life
Like now?

Choose to be different
Choose to appreciate
Your physical body 
With love 
And kindness
You only get one
For this lifetime.

Heal past
Suppressed
Emotional wounds
By doing
Necessary work
To be health
Inside and out.

Send well wishes
To those you need
Compassion
That’s all one can do
For another
When effects caused
In the past
Are present
In the now.
